What is Far Infrared?
Our sun is the principal source of radiant energy that we enjoy daily.
FIR radiation (FIR) accounts for over half the energy emitted by the sun.
The remaining energy is emitted in the form of visible light.
FIR is a band of light produced by the sun that we perceive as heat. While
we cannot see infrared heat, we can feel its effects. As part of the sun’s
invisible spectrum, FIR light is a form of thermal energy. This is the warmth
you feel penetrate your skin when you are outside in the sun.
Infrared light is an important energy force that promotes healing –
raising the white blood cell count. Why is that good? Because more white
blood cells means greater immunity. Greater immunity means greater health
and a better quality of life.
Infrared rays heat our body by a process called conversion. Through conversion,
FIR heat can penetrate organic substances such as the human body without
heating the air in between.
By using FIR Heat as opposed to traditional heating methods, you enable the heat to penetrate deeper into your body.
FIR heat is a healthy, natural and safe therapy for all living things.
Ordinary heat does not affect our internal bodily organs or functions because they lack the ability to deep-reach. FIR rays have the ability to penetrate deeply (up to 4cms centimetres) and permeate thoroughly into the hypodermic layer of a person’s skin. Thus, it is possible to revitalize human cells and tissue by warming the body from the inside. Again, this warming is made possible by the heat energy transfer of far-infrared radiation. The effects of FIR rays promotes bioprocesses such as increased metabolism and blood circulation.
The mechanism of action is related to vasodilation, or increased blood flow. The penetrating infrared energy brings nutrients and oxygen to the soft issue region being treated and at the same time stimulates the removal of accumulated toxins.

What are the benefits of Far Infrared Heat Therapy?
The human body is composed of 90% water. FIR rays cause resonance in water molecules, activating them and ionizing them. Because of this effect, FIR Heat Therapy offers a variety of health and beauty benefits.
FIR Heat Therapy effectively helps to increase blood circulation without putting strain on your heart and increases the levels of oxygen and while blood cells in your blood. It also stimulates the production of collagen (a building block for human tissue) in your body and helps rid your body of toxins by causing you to perspire. You get the benefit of a stronger immune system, better cardiovascular health, and a faster ability to heal from soft tissue injuries such as tears, pulls and sprains.
The penetrating heat of FIR Heat Therapy can be used as a beauty treatment as well. It reduces the appearance of crow’s feet, fine lines, and wrinkles. In addition to helping heal scars, wounds, and cuts, it also smoothes your skin’s textures, lessens coarseness, and reduces pore size.
FIR Heat Therapy penetrates deep into soft tissues, making it an ideal source of arthritis pain relief. Athletes and the elderly will benefit from an effective means of loosening sore muscles and stiff joints without the use of medication, ointments or creams.
In addition to making you perspire and remove toxins from your body, FIR Heat Therapy serves as a means of weight loss and cellulite reduction.
The list of health enhancements through the use of FIR is impressive and it includes: relief from all forms of arthritis, increase in the extensibility of collagen tissues, relieves muscle spasms and joint stiffness, increases blood flow, assists in resolution of inflammation, weight control, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, coronary artery disease, blood circulation, ear, nose and throat conditions, skin conditions (including cellulite) and all-round beauty treatment.
FIR is used as an effective treatment for arthritis pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, treatment of acne (by shrinking sebaceous glands), appears to open pores forcing out clogged cosmetics and loosening dry, outer skin, healing scars and acne.
Far Infrared Heat Therapy is a natural, soothing treatment making it an effective pain management tool for conditions such as arthritis pain and tendonitis.
FIR treatments are not miracle cures for disease or serious ailments.
FIR Thermal Rays elevate the heart rate and improve blood circulation which are both crucial to maintaining good health. The heart rate increases as increased blood flow is diverted from the inner organs toward the extremities of the skin without elevating blood pressure.
Who should use Far Infrared Ray Therapy?
FIR Heat Therapy has been shown to work on people of all backgrounds. The range of benefits from this effective form of therapy can be felt regardless of physical disabilities, limitations and athletic condition. Infrared heat therapy may be safely used by suffers of pain, injury and muscle stiffness of all ages.
Where is Infrared Technology Used?
Health professionals have used red infrared heat lamps for many years to treat wounds, muscle and joint ailments. Hospitals make use of infrared heating systems and therapy lamps in their maternity and baby care units.
